Manchester - Sir Alex Ferguson set-back when Manchester United's young defender meets Ajax Amsterdam in the Europa League. Fergie admits that his decision was a big risk.

In the last 32 second leg match of the Europa League at Old Trafford on Friday (24/02/2012) pm dawn, Ferguson menduetkan Phil Jones (20 years) and Chris Smalling (22 years) in the heart of the defense. Jones and Smalling flanked by the twins Fabio and Rafael (21 years).

By lowering the young players at the top, Ferguson hopes to add to their experience at European level. Moreover, Manchester United has picked up a 2-0 lead in the first meeting and it just needed a draw to qualify.

But, Ajax was performed trengginas at Old Trafford. Frank De Boer made by the team that launched a barrage to the home team's defense, especially after conceding a quick goal Javier Hernandez.

Continue being bombarded, the back line was strong enough MU. Goalkeeper David de Gea was broken twice and eventually lost 1-2 MU.

Fortunately, defeat did not stop the MU to the round of 16. They still get away with a 3-2 aggregate advantage.

"I must say, I should be responsible for the selection of players and tonight I'm playing too many young players at the position back four," I Ferguson on Sky Sports.

"That is a huge problem in terms of experience. That's a big risk that I have taken," he added.

"I think the advantage 2-0 (first leg), this is a great opportunity for Chris Smalling and Phil Jones because they did not play long," said Ferguson.

"They have tremendous potential, but lack of experience creates a problem for us," said the man was 70 years.

"For the European game, this is too much risk. We escaped thanks to a bit of luck. But, we did not play well in the second half and this is an exciting evening," he said.

One thing Ferguson is grateful for De Gea looks okay under the rule. Although they conceded two goals, De Gea makes a great relief when Siem De Jong's header brushed off.

"De Gea make extraordinary rescue," said Ferguson
