London - English League Cup Final this year was not just a matter of dueling teams Liverpool and Cardiff City squad. At Wembley on Sunday (2/26/2012) tomorrow, there is the potential clash of two members of the Gerrard family.
Gerrard is the first of the Liverpool captain, Steven Gerrard. Stevie G will try to give the title to the Reds after the last time to do it when the FA Cup in 2006.
Stronghold of Cardiff, there are others whose names Gerrard may not have been familiar in the ears, Anthony Gerrard. Anthony is the cousin Steven who spend most of his career in semenjana teams.
These two Gerrard does not necessarily deal directly on the Wembley turf. If Steven is almost certain to be a starter, Anthony's participation will still depend on the condition of fitness Mark Hudson. If Hudson has not been healthy, Anthony had a great chance to be lowered.
About the relationship of this brother, Steven and Anthony agreed to forget for a moment in the final game. They are equally determined to bring his team to be champions.
"I hope this will work well for Anthony. But, when the long whistle sounded, I hope he is disappointed," said Steven on Sky Sports.
"If he (Steven) escape and live to duel against each other in the last minute, in our conditions ahead, then I'll stop," said Anthony.
"He's got a lot of medals won, and if this is my chance to win it, then I have to take it," he added.
So, who will smile at the end and lift the trophy? Steven or Anthony?
