Reja previously had intended to resign after a poor Lazio in their last few games. Final defeat against Atletico Madrid gave a big blow for him. Eventually, however, the intention to resign was canceled after the talks with Lazio president Claudio Lotito.
"Why am I offered to resign? I was having disagreements with the president of the club but we have talked and finally it was clear," said Reja.
"So I will stay at Lazio, now and for the future."
